Each March, Austin hosts a tournament in Central Texas featuring some of the biggest names in their sport – the PGA’s World Golf Championships – Dell Technologies Match Play tournament. The bracket style one-of-a-kind tournament divides 64 golfers into 16 four-player groups, eventually getting down to a final four who compete on Sunday for the ultimate prize!

Whether you attend the event to enjoy the sunshine and ambiance, check out the attendee style, hit the sponsor tents or actually watch the golf, here are some pictures to show you what the Dell Match Play weekend is like!

First off, if you can get yourself out on a boat one of the days, we highly recommend it. Keep an eye out for pirates, though. Thanks to Titos for hosting us on the Bogey Boat!

Tito’s also sponsored an oasis on the course which was open to the public. Other sponsor areas included Cadillac, Four Season Residences and Kendra Scott. One of the best course views was at the Dell Technologies Suite between holes 13 and 15 – invite only.

Keep this in mind!

If you’re headed out to another tour stop this year, or you’re planning to attend Match Play next year, keep in mind that there is a lot of walking and a lot of sun so you will sweat. Keep that in mind when planning your attire (also keep in mind that there technically is a dress code). Comfy walking shoes are key, as is hydration and sunscreen!
