When Garth Brooks hits the road for his world tour, he brings his big ol’ heart along with him. Garth Brooks inspires youth athletes with Teammates ProCamps
At each tour stop, there’s a Teammates ProCamp as well. Camps are free to children of the organizations chosen to participate and Garth attends each camp to take part and speak with the young athletes.
This weekend, Garth stopped in Charleston, SC, for not one but FOUR concerts at the North Charleston Coliseum.
Prior to Saturday night’s two shows, his foundation hosted a ProCamp that focused on the fundamentals of teamwork in life and football. Former NFL quarterback Tyler Thigpen was also at the event.
The 10-year-old Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation and ProCamps provides scholarships for underprivileged children allowing them to attend the camps.
We always love to see celebs giving back! Or, as our pal Bobby Bones phrases it, “Pimpin’ joy!”
Garth definitely has a way with people of all ages and his exuberance is infectious. He could not have been more friendly and personable, as illustrated by this pic we snapped with the country superstar.
