Every week, the ATXgossip gang shares one of the Best Austin Bloggers and Influencers you should be following. We’ve already chatted with a slew of fashionistas, artists, travel bloggers, writers… and we’re nowhere near done! This week we’re introducing you to Erin Dudley, AKA @sewstratton.
Erin is a southern fashion lover with a retro style and a photographer with a heart for building community. She has been published by Macys and worked with brands like Wrangler, ModCloth and Vera Bradley.
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette grad has always loved fashion. As a teen she would alter her clothing, add random zippers other fun elements, and has always marched to the beat of her own drum. Her parents used to call her outfits “Erin Outfits” almost teasingly but she liked to embrace her uniqueness. Though she studied Fashion Design in college, she has since really found her passion in photography. She volunteers with the Pablove Foundation teaching photography to children with cancer and has done mission work in Mexico, Chicago, Tennessee and Texas.
Erin hopes to inspire others to stand up and be the voice for those who can’t and to raise awareness and be proactive in helping the less fortunate. “Without someone standing up, nothing will change,” she said.
We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Before we asked Erin to answer our ATX-centric questions, we wanted to know what we will see more of from her in 2022. She promises we’ll see more photography and content creation with a little bit of her new son Noah mixed in. She’d also love to work with you on any of your photography needs!

I don’t know about current but I can always put on Schitt’s Creek.

The new Spider-Man was pretty good.
