Follow Friday – Meet Austin Influencer Danielle Amelia of #styledaf
April 10, 2020 |
By Dani Dudek

Our Best of Austin Bloggers and Influencers series continues this week with the founder of #styledaf.

Danielle Amelia is relatively new to the Austin scene. Originally from Southern California, she moved to the ATX in 2018. And get this… she had never been here before and knew zero people!

“It was wild, but I’m so glad I did it. I love living in Austin so much and feel like myself here,” she told ATXgossip.

Danielle owns an online boutique called #styledaf By Danielle Amelia! The collection is a blend of her California casual side mixed with a little Texas flair.

Just as we do with celebs, we threw our Totally Texan quiz at her, as well as a few ATX-tra questions.

Who is your favorite Austin celebrity?

Matthew McConaughey!

Who is your favorite Texas band/ musician?

Gary Clark Jr.; his episode of Sonic Highways with the Foo Fighters inspired me to move to Austin!

What’s your theme song?

Definitely “Best Of You” by the Foo Fighters! (I’m a HUGE FF fan) and I love the encouragement of this song to just be your authentic self.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

I think the best fit to play me would be Demi Lovato.

What advice do you have for Austinites looking to be successful in social media?

My advice for anyone to be successful in social media would be not to hold back in fear of offending anyone. If you try to speak to everyone, you’ll speak to no one and it’s ok if some people don’t vibe with you! As long as you’re bold, authentic and confident in who YOU are, the right people will find you and follow.
