The cast of the ABC Bachelor spinoff The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart features not one but two Austinites. And one of those Austin based musicians is Ruby Jane, who’s been on the ATXgossip radar for many years now.

We first met Ruby Jane over a decade ago and have followed her career closely over the years. In fact, we did an interview with her way back in 2014 where she talked about her musical influences, playing with Lady Gaga at SXSW and much more.

Ruby was 14-years-old when she first started touring. In addition to Lady Gaga, she’s played violin for all five living presidents, Willie Nelson and Blues Traveler, just to name a few. Willie has even proclaimed his love for the musical prodigy saying, “She makes the violin sing.”

On Listen to Your Heart  Ruby, now 25, and the other contestants will be singing well-known songs, both individually and as couples. They will look to form attractions through the melodies, find and reveal their feelings and ultimately, fall in love.
