While we’ve been practicing social distancing from people we’re becoming closer than ever with our televisions and we couldn’t help but notice the amount of Matthew McConaughey movies that are currently streaming. It’s no secret that the ATXgossip team is a big fan of Mr. Texas, so we thought we’d share our love by sharing some of our favorite movies.

Welcome Back to Matthew McConaughey Mondays!

Starring: Matthew McConaughey, Ellen DeGeneres, Woody Harrelson, Elizebeth Hurley, and Jenna Effman

Synopsis: In a desperate attempt to boost ratings, a cable channel decides to document the life of someone on a daily basis and air the footage as a show. That lucky someone turns out to be Ed Pekurny (McConaughey), a laid-back video-store clerk. While the TV series makes Ed an overnight celebrity, it also begins to wreak havoc on his personal life, complicating his relationship with his new girlfriend and causing tension with his brother, Ray.

Trailer:

This is definitely a gem of a movie! If you haven’t seen it already, we highly recommend it.
