We’re back again to continue our Friday Night Lights walk down memory lane. We’ve covered a lot of the remaining locations already and have sadly come down to our final two. This week we’re taking you to The Landing Strip.

If you want to end your day the Tim Riggin’s way, you may want to end this tour at the Landing Strip. Plus you don’t have to go far, it’s right around the corner from Panther field. FNL is not The Landing Strips only 15 minutes of fame, it was also in Varsity Blues and Planet Terror. Speaking of, stay turned for more movies made in Austin.
As always, we encourage you to check out local filming locales, stop and take pictures but please be mindful. These locations are not just prop houses or buildings but real homes and establishments. Be respectful and courteous with your approach.
We highly recommend a driving tour of the FNL filming locations. It’s actually a great way to get out of the house while still practicing social-distancing! Looking for other FNL filming locations? Check out this post that documents ALL of the filming locations still standing as of Fall 2019.
And if you want to relive the glory of the series, it’s currently available to stream on the NBC app (you’ll need to authenticate), Hulu, or Starz.
