Cole Sprouse of Riverdale fame is coming to Austin to shoot the new movie Elastic Hearts. Though plot details remain under wraps, we know that the character driven drama is set to shoot September 8 through October 12, 2025.

Darby Lee-Stack of The Holdovers co-stars in the film which comes to us from Danish filmmaker Milad Schwartz Avaz. While Avaz has established himself as one of Europe’s rising talents, this marks his US feature debut. He was named as one of Variety‘s Europeans to Watch in 2018.

The filming dates (and majority of this info) are according to Variety. However, location scouts posted on Reddit on August 15 in search of a suburban middle class house to use as a filming location. The home is needed for a two day shoot happening around September 17 and 18.

The independent feature film is produced by Forty Five Films and expected to be submitted to festivals following completion in 2026.
