The Party of Five reunion panel at the ATX Television Festival felt like a giant love in. Though the amount of cast members that attended was smaller than I would’ve preferred, it was still quite the enjoyable experience.
I mean, how could it not be? Mean Girl Lacey Chabert was there, along with Scott Wolf, who also attended the festival last year.
The featured episode was the one when Charlie and Kirsten call off their wedding. I’m sure it was chosen partially because Paula Devicq has a strong presence and she was in attendance. Most of the panel did focus on the main cast members, however.
Topics of discussion included Julia’s abortion, Bailey’s alcoholism, growing up on the set and the motto of the show; “tears would not be inappropriate.”
I do recall crying a lot while watching PO5. However, adolescence may have something to do with that.

Party of Five ran for six seasons on FOX, culminating in the year 2000.
Texan Jennifer Love Hewitt starred in a spin-off called Time of Your Life, which only lasted half a season. While its run was brief, it did introduce us to a Hollywood newcomer who went on to star in two other television hits, Felicity and Alias. That star, of course, is Texas born Jennifer Garner.

Texas raised Jeremy London also appeared on the show.
