There are some familiar faces you may spot walking the streets of the ATX this weekend.
Austin Comic Con is on!
And this year’s line-up is a good one.
Here are the top 10 celebs we’d love to cross paths with.
#1 – Matt Smith
This is not a popular thing to say, but Matt Smith is our favorite Doctor. Must be the fez.
The 10th Dr. Who also appeared in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies earlier this year. Next up, you’ll see him in the Netflix series The Crown.
#2 – Danny Trejo
We actually have crossed paths with the Machete star. It happened on 6th Street many moons ago. At Bikinis to be exact. We know what you’re thinking; what the heck were we doing at Bikinis? We’re thinking the same thing.
Currently, Trejo stars as one of the Storks and, according to IMDB, has 30 upcoming projects.
#3 – Sebastian Stan
You may recognize Stan as Bucky Barnes/ Winter Soldier from Captain America, but WE know him better as Gossip Girl‘s Carter Baizen.
#4 – William Shatner
If you can’t name a Shatner role, you can’t sit with us. He may be most famous as Star Trek‘s Captain Kirk but Stan Fields will always hold a special place in our heart. “Thank you, Gracie Lou.”
Click through to see pics of Shatner and Scott Bakula at the convention in 2013.
#5 – Lee Majors
While he’s worked steadily throughout the years (most recently on Ash vs. Evil Dead), Majors will always be The Fall Guy and/ or The Six Million Dollar Man.
You can also spot Majors when he appears at Fantastic Fest in Austin on Monday, September 26.
#6 – Sam Jones
We had no idea who Sam Jones was pre – Ted, but now we know he was Flash Gordon. And, if the picture Seth McFarland painted is accurate, a crazy party animal.
#7 – Judge Reinhold
Yes, Judge Reinhold was in Fast Times. But he was also a weenie whistle lovin’ disbeliever in The Santa Clause.
#8 – Gabby Douglas
Fresh off her gold medal winning performance at the Rio Olympics, the gymnast also appeared in her auto-biographical made-for-TV film The Gabby Douglas Story.
#9 – James Marsters
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star has been working the Wizard World circuit for years now. But we’re OK with that. Spike > Angel then, now, always.
Read about Marsters’ 2013 appearance when he revealed how he really feels about David Boreanaz here.
#10 – Nicholas Brendon
Marters’ Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star has also been working the circuit for years. If you’re lucky, he’ll break out the Snoopy dance like he did at the convention in 2011. Click to see pictures of him at that year’s fest, along with multiple cast members, including Charisma Carpenter.
Wizard World’s Austin Comic Con is happening Friday through Sunday at the Austin Convention Center.
